Never did we dream we would find our "new favorite place" in the US. We arrived early to Crouch and decided to walk down to the river and explore while waiting to check in. I accidentally stepped on a fishing hook and my husband had to dig it out of my foot. I was upset, hot, and really needed to lay down. He drove to The Three Bears Inn and told them we were early and they immediately said well just head on to your cabin and make yourself at home. They don't even know how they saved me that day. I was able to get inside and get my foot cleaned up, and relax. The cabin was so clean and smelled so nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was heaven sent. We ended up staying at 5 different locations across Idaho and this was THE BEST!! The people were so nice, and so welcoming and we will definitely be back. We had a wonderful stay at the Three Bears Inn in Garden Valley, Idaho, on the night of June 25, when I had a speaking engagement with Friends of the Library. From the moment we arrived, the room felt incredibly welcoming and cozy. The cabin-style aesthetic, complete with beautiful wooden beams and rustic decor, created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Everything you could need for an overnight or even for a couple nights stay. Staff is outstanding and so friendly, as well as helpful when you are short on something. We were just on vacation in several towns along the OR coast and stayed in multiple hotels. Upon walking into our room at Three Bears Inn, we all said the room was so much nicer than any room we had stayed in on our vacation earlier in the month. The room was huge, the layout was well thought out, and every detail was accounted for. We stayed in the Raccoon Hideaway room. We were there for a wedding and when we got wrinkled clothing out of our bag, there was a steamer conveniently already in the room. There was a living room area with a coffee table, couch, chair, end table. When it was time to pull the bed out for my son, we moved the coffee table and found all bedding clean and in a storage bag in the coffee table. There was a large TV in the living room and another in the bedroom space, where we had a huge king-sized bed, and a chair to sit and watch TV on if we wanted. The entire space was spotless, with attention to detail throughout. Being the Raccoon Hideaway, small Raccoon details were included throughout, down to the ceramic dish that is a soap holder in the bathroom. The bathroom was spacious and spotless! We were originally booked in Room 1 The Wolf Den, but I called after booking to see if we could switch to #8, the Moose Trail cabin. It was already reserved, so I said no problem. Then the others must've canceled, because they moved us to the Moose Trail anyway. Absolutely beautiful renovations, with all the comforts. We stayed in cabin 8 with the king sized bed and it was perfect. I am 7 and a half months pregnant and the bed was extremely comfortable, the ac works great, very clean, plenty of towels, and nice TVs. They are also pet friendly. We had our dog with us and there is grass right behind the cabins which is super convient. The staff is also very kind and even helped me and my husband find the vet in the area for our pup (hip problems). Will 100% be staying here again. We had a snafu with our reservation for another place and Three Bears Inn had a last minute cancellation. We feel like we lucked out because our stay here was so peaceful and so nice! They had so many extra little personal touches, like, Kleenex, poop bags in case we had dogs, and a super nice microwave/air fryer combo that we were able to cook a really nice meal in. We will definitely be back! We stayed in a King Suite which felt like a home away from home. We were within waking distance of the grocery store and several places to eat. There was a nice ramp for easy access for my wheelchair. Keypad made entry/ checkin easy and convenient. Nice amenities and fun decor. When we arrived at the Inn, our room was all ready for us and very inviting with the TV's on showing a city scape, a light was on and it was nice and cool inside. We loved the wolf decor. In previous years most accommodations were not the best with the one exception being a great B & B (which is no longer available). The Three Bears Inn was a lovely surprise! We had Cabin 5. Everything worked.... heating and cooling, keypad, fridge with freezer, microwave, lights, and large flat screen TV. Instead of needing a key for your cabin door, the staff texts/emails you a code to unlock it, which makes it easier so you don't have to worry about losing a key. The microwave/air fryer great for your food, the pop up desk from the coffee table is awesome for doing your work, and two TV's in the bed room and living room are great for when you want to sit somewhere else but still want to watch TV. A/C is great! And the bathrooms are very clean and bright. We never talked much to the staff besides saying hi whenever we saw each other, but it's nice! The walls are pretty thin tho, so it can be hard to sleep when other people are playing the TV loud at night, or talking. Everything that you need is within a 3 minute walk: the grocery store, the mercantile, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.. Overall, our experience was great! Three Bears Inn came through for us after our initial reservation at another location was not found even though we made it back in March. Turns out this was a blessing, even though we were only able to stay one night verses the initial two nights booked. We were much happier at Three Bears Inn, the process was easy, we were texted a code to get into our rooms, they were cute, clean and easy access to the things we had planned. The room was so comfortable. Carefully renovated and decorated. All the extra touches were very well done.The beds were very comfortable. Everything worked.... heating and cooling, keypad, fridge with freezer, microwave, lights. Everything? We plan to keep coming this summer for theater and will definitely book again. I love that we had our own "cabin" and that it was very dog friendly. The room was super comfortable, clean and updated and the staff was easy to communicate with via text, which I am so glad for since we came in after they were closed. We love the cute little town and the people are so friendly! The market was a pleasant surprise as they have just about anything you would need and is a short walk from the cabin. Our room was the Raccoon Room, which includes a front sitting room with large tv, and an attached (no door) bedroom with large tv. The motel is set up a bit like an Air Bnb with keypad code entry and communication with the owner via text. The King bed was very comfortable (medium, not too soft or firm) and bedding, too. Everything was so clean, and we got to bring our pup. I felt the cost per night was reasonable, given that prices everywhere have gotten ridiculous. It was nice to stroll around sleepy Crouch during the slow season and check out the local shops and restaurants. Although I'm moving to Oregon this year, I still plan to be back and visit. Such a small cozy town, and Three Bears Inn is right on the edge. The rooms were so nice and the bed was comfy. The sheets were new and clean. Next time in the area I will for sure stay here again. Wi-Fi is free and is fast. Pets are welcomed. Outside rooms on the porch are chairs for guest to relax and enjoy the view of the town and beautiful Idaho weather. The Inn has recently been renovated and is so so nice. It was so convenient to enjoy the area and attend the Starlight Mountain Theatre. Reservation and check-in was super easy. I left a favorite set of earrings and they even mailed them back to me--that was so kind! The earrings were not expensive, but very sentimental. I booked at the last minute looking for a place to sleep instead of driving to Boise. This little "cabin" exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a newly renovated room and I found everything "just right" I love the mountain cabin decor, but somehow it feels like a fresh take on the theme? I don't know how that is possible but it feels like the touches are the perfect amount. I love that there is a fridge and true freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. The bathroom was spotless and the shower even had a foot spot for shaving, I was surprised and happy to find a hair dryer. I am able to get the room temperature to be perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, Just right. My head is melting into these comfy pillows. I work in hospitality and I can see the attention that has been put into every detail. Do not use the next driveway to turn around! It's private property. When me and my friend got there, there was no one in the office. Just a note taped to the door telling us the room had been switched from the reservation and no let was available. Luckily the friend we were staying with left the door unlocked. This is a nice little cozy cabin, the room I was in was pretty much it's own cabin with 2 beds. They only have 3 cabins from what I saw. It was nice to have an air conditioned room. However, the water from the sink smells and tastes like rust, it was awful. I'm glad we brought filtered water. My friends reserved a room with microwave and fridge, but only a microwave and coffee maker say in the corner. The beds were nice until we slept on them. Both of our backs ached the next day, and I have nerve damage in my back. It made the night restless and the day sore. I saw a professional bus, the kind bands travel in, there next to cabin 1 & 2. I wondered if maybe they needed side by side cabins and that's why we got moved. But we were never told, just left a note. I wanted to bring these issues up to the manager but I never saw anyone there. If you manage to make a reservation make sure you hammer out the details of what you're paying for before you get here. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. If the guest cancels more than 60 days in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded. If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, the 50%prepayment is non-refundable. If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, subsequent nights are non-refundable. In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non- refundable. There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest must send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: [email protected] All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been canceled. Terms and Conditions Reservation Policy For reservations guaranteed with a form of payment at the time of booking, rooms are held until check-out time (11:00 AM local time) the day following arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed, and the room may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 2 days after we have confirmed your reservation. We have the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking if this should occur. You must be 21 years old to book a room A valid photo ID may be required upon check-in All requests to reserve a room must include a cell phone number, the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival. Our room rates are always awesome, and they are subject to change. All rooms are subject to a 3% Local Option tax collected by the City of Crouch and a 2% Travel and Convention Tax in addition to local sales tax. Group trips are fun! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind- Four people max for all of our rooms. Got babies? We’ve got pack-and-play and cribs available upon request, subject to availability. Check-in / Check-out Check-in is any time from 3:00pm local time or after. Your Door Code will be texted to you in advance of your arrival. Please respond to the same text string with the Make/Model/Color & License plate of the vehicle that you will be parking on site at the Inn. The balance of the full reservation amount will be charged automatically upon check-in. Check-out is at or prior to 11:00am local time . You can check out via Text by simply replying to the welcome door code message, your door code will no longer work once you have checked out or the check-out time has passed, whichever happens first. Unless expressly agreed upon prior, if you have not checked out by 11:15am (local time) a late check fee of $50 will be charge to the card on file. At 1:00pm (local time) an additional $75 fee will be assessed. Note: These are late check out fees and do not apply to future reservations and are non refundable. Please note that a more detailed inspection of the room is made after the check-out time, and we reserve the right to make charges for any damage or breakages found before the room is occupied again. Smoking Policy Breathe easy. The Three Bears Inn is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a $350 room cleaning fee. Damage / Missing items and Noise Policy We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’. Any property damages or missing items will be charged to the credit card on file at market value. Pre-existing damage or room issues must be reported to us immediately after check-in to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The bed linen, towels and decorative items are NOT gifts and should remain in the Room. Any items found missing will be charged to your credit card on file. If you would like to keep the wood pens and post it notes, please do. Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time). Pet Policy Are we pet friendly? You bet! A maximum of two pets are allowed per room. There is a $25 non-refundable Pet Fee that is applicable per stay. Just make sure your furry friends do their business in the designated area and you clean up after them. Please keep your pets on a leash when outside. There are local pets that wander about, we don't want any furry friends to get in a scuffle. Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms at any time. Should your furry friend shed a great amount or have a potty accident in the room, a cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file in the amount of $125. Should your pet cause property or item damage, an incidental fee will be charged at market value to the credit card on file. No wild animals or venomous creatures. Enhanced Cleaning Fee There will be an enhanced cleaning fee of $75.00. For bodily fluids or excessive liquid of any type discovered upon inspection of the room after checkout. Liability Release We are not staffed 24/7 so in winter, snow and ice may build up on steps and walking areas before we are able to clear it again. By accepting these terms, you release The Three Bears Inn of any liability should you slip, fall or otherwise injure yourself due to snowy, icy or wet stairs or walkways.
